I actually had someone else build the blogging site for me, but the other things like adding Feedburner, Adsense and even themes stumped me. Like you, I found that all of the instructions were written for someone who had some prior knowledge of what was going on. There's still no Feedburner buttons, no Adsense ads, and I don't have the theme of my choice! I'll get it eventually, and will certainly come back and read more on this subject!
