It’s really important to chat it up on boards related to you area of interest. That’s probably one of the best and most fun ways to get traffic to your blog. Try to find the most heavily trafficked boards and post a useful comment. The key word here is useful. Only spammers post nonsense or information that has nothing to do with the board’s comments. It’s a very good idea to read the board, visit it and get a feel for what people are talking about and the various personalities there. Your goal is to become a useful member of a community.
