Sites that Pay for Your Posts

Before I get on my soapbox, here are some places where you can get paid to write reviews or ads on your blog. Some people report that they earn $200 to $300 per month writing the paid ads. I do not advocate writing only reviews. Use a good mix of articles and ads, using the ads sparingly. Get Paid to Write Reviews through the following:

Google is trying to make money. It’s that simple. Therefore, when the average blogger uses services like Pay Per Post, which pays them for their blog posts, Google is lowering that blogger’s page rank. Page rank is the number Google issues to a site, which gives it importance or credibility. The higher the number, the more status the site is said to have. Spammy sites, junk sites, or sites which are created solely for the purpose of listing advertisements should theoretically have a lower page rank than a trusted site like CNN.com. Some bloggers feel that sites that pay bloggers to write advertisements are devaluing the web. For example, when you go searching for information on colon cancer, your search results will include misleading information in a post that an average blogger was paid to write. I think that it is the readers’ responsibility to be able to tell whether information is coming from a trusted site like the Mayo clinic or if its coming from the average Joe down the street. In any case, people are going to write paid ads because they can get paid more than they would if they used Google adsense ads. Perhaps the paid for ads that the bloggers are writing are competing with the adsense ads. In any case, I think that Google has too much power, and bloggers who are interested in writing paid ads should go for it! Should bloggers disclose the fact that they are writing paid ads? Yes! We should be honest. Some paid advertising companies simply want bloggers to write their own opinions about a blog, product or services. If they are going to pay you to honestly write your opinions, what’s the problem with that? Reviewers are often paid by publishers. What difference does it make if you are writing about the topic on your own blog?
